Cribbers Golf

The Cribbers Classic Golf Tournament was founded by Marvin Thiessen 1993 as the “Thiessen Open.”  From the beginning, the purpose has been to provide “the guys in the trenches” with an afternoon of golf and social interaction. 

For golfers who are not traditionally invited to corporate tournaments, the Cribbers Classic provides a time to relax, have fun, and enjoy a first class experience.  Each year the Classic is hosted at an area course that is well suited to novice and more advanced skill levels.

In 2005, 144 golfers competed.  Sponsors like Inland Concrete, Rolling Mix, and Cam Clark Ford have come along side to make the Classic an event to remember for those who “hump the forms,” drive the trucks, and do the fieldwork on the jobsites.
